Fort Worth company leaves 'Christmas Carol’ just as it should be

FORT WORTH — The Stolen Shakespeare Guild’s production of A Christmas Carol, which closes its short run today at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, doesn’t do anything new or different with this Christmas classic.
And God bless them, every one, for taking that approach.
The result is a straightforward telling of the tale, based on JaceSon P. Barrus’ adaptation, that sticks to the basics and lets Dickens do the talking.
